Which is the best carrier to ship to Canada (no or the least brokerage/paperwork fee)?
Hello,
I recall that when I purchased something outside Canada, FedEx asked me to pay a brokerage/paperwork fee before they would deliver a package to me. Which of the following do not require such fee? If all of them charge the fee, which is the least expensive?
I can choose among:
1. Fedex International Economy
2. DHL Express Worldwide
3 Fedex International Priority
4. FedEx International Connect Plus
Thanks

I have used DHL Express International in the past. Still, due to Canada's protective tariffs on goods from other countries, you will be paying the same duties and customs fees regardless of the carrier. I personally do not think it is fair to levy tariffs to prevent Canadians from buying goods from outside Canada; this is silly.

Besides the tax, did DHL also charge you paperwork/brokerage fee? If so, how many percentage of the total cost of the product being shipped?
