Where to get 3d printed samples
I am new, just bought a 3d printer, I want to ask which website allows to get free 3d printing files
RE:
There are many sites. Which offer model files without charge. However you need to be very careful when using the files. There are usually associated licenses governing file use. And it is important to comply with these licenses. So for instance you may be free to print a copy for personal use. But be forbidden to print the same model for sale...
One site you could try is yeggi.com. this site searches a number of other sites looking for suitable sources.
Beware. There is no guarantee that free models are good models they may contain errors or have parts missing.
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility.Location Halifax UK
All of the repositories are suffering from a wave of AI sourced 'designs' that look good and are rendered beautifully but which may never have been printed and probably never could be.
Until you have some experience always look at the comments sections; only attempt to print files that plenty of others have already succeeded with - you want to see plenty of pictures of success and even then read the text so you know what tips and tweaks previous printers suggest.
Cheerio,
