What is the problem here?
I am new to 3D printing and just recently purchased a Prusa 4S. I am experiencing a problem that I am uncertain what the cause is. Not certain if it is the printer, the settings, or the filament but as you can see I am getting "protrusions" on the work. I am using a brand new PLA filament. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what the cause is? Thank you for your help with this.
Your filament is damp, it needs to be dry.
You cannot assume that new filament is dry - it was packed dry but you don't know how it was treated in transit or for how long it sat on a warehouse shelf.
There are signs that you may have other issues but until we see the results with dry filament it's hard to be sure.
Cheerio,
RE: What is the problem here?
Is that wood filament?

Thank you. Yes it is "Wood" filament. I plan on putting the filament in a dryer and see if that improves the performance.
