What does PLA blend mean?
What does blend mean in “Prusament Ms. Pink (Blend)”?
Is the PLA blended with something else (if so: what) or is the color a blend of different colors (and if so: why mention it). Does it need different settings, or emit different vapours?
RE: What does PLA blend mean?
Apparently PLA filament is a mixture of additives, pigments and raw PLA, each manufactures mix is different. Thus Prusaslicer allows you to create a separate profile for each PLA.
RE:
I’m sure you’re right, but most of the other Prusament PLA filements don’t have “blend” in their name, so I do think this might be something quite different.
RE: What does PLA blend mean?
They have all kinds of PLA variants.
With a used printer I got just over a year or so, I got about 1/2 of a spool of black 'Tough PLA' and really could not tell any difference between that and plain vanilla Amazon Basics black generic PLA.
I did look at the description on the Prusa sales site, and it really did not look like anything so different that it warranted a 1.5 price difference.
RE: What does PLA blend mean?
PLA blend stands for PLA/PBAT blend in a certain ratio for the filaments with the silk-like surface.

Can you please share more info such as a datasheet?

Excuse me resurrecting this thread, but it was a top hit for my Google search on Prusament PLA Blends. For anyone else arriving in the future, here are the technical data sheets for PLA and PLA Blend:
Regular PLA: https://www.prusa3d.com/file/370474/prusament-pla-technical-data-sheet.pdf
PLA Blend: https://www.prusa3d.com/file/938568/prusament-pla-blend-technical-data-sheet.pdf
These are current as of the date of this post, sorry if the links break in the future. You can find up-to-date technical data sheets for both PLA and PLA Blend on a Prusa3D Shop page for any PLA Blend product.
