What do you actually use the 0.8 nozzle for...?
Hi! So I've got a newly purchased MK4 with 0.25, 0.4 and 0.8 nozzles. I bought the 0.8 nozzle since I thought it would be nice to have when printing large stuff, to save time. But... I can't see any use-cases for it. Regardless if I print something large or not, I still want it to look nice. My printer isn't running 24/7, so spending a few more hours on making a print look nicer is no problem for me.
The only use-case I can imagine for my 0.8 nozzle is for printing things that won't be visually seen but I can't imagine anything on the top off my head what that would be.
What do you use your 0.8 nozzles for?

When I want something to print fast or have a large part to print.
Personally, I have no problem with layer lines as I like the FDM 3D printed look.

I sell a piece of training equipment for detection dogs that would take 8 hours or so to print with a 0.4mm nozzle. Dogs don't mind the look of a 0.8 mm nozzle, and I'm down to 3 hours print time. 🙂
But, yeah, for the usual household or decorative objects it's hard to see how the 0.8 mm nozzle fits into the picture, unless you explicitly want the "rustic" look of that nozzle.
