water dispenser adapter

Hi Guys,

I just joined a company that have an i3 MK2S, and don't use it. 🙂 So now I'm just researching to see how all this new world works.

So, for my first project, here, I have a water dispenser in my work, and i want to be able to refill my tupperware bottle with water, but the place to put it is small. So, I´m thinking of doing an adapter do insert in the output of the water dispenser and then i can refill my bottle without lick water or using multiple individuals' glasses to refill. 🙂

In repository have something similar to this ?

Thanks

Hi and Welcome!

Looks like you want an offset or angled funnel.  Try searching the prints section. I know there are some on Thingiverse.

Be careful with plastics selection though, you would want something reasonably safe for drinking water and be able to clean.

Potential pitfalls are: lower temperature plastics would not be dishwasher safe,  some plastics might be considered toxic and all 3D printed parts can have small voids that can breed bacteria.

Good luck and

Happy Printing!

Hi,

Thanks for help and warning tips,

I had never thought about it. 🙂

I took a look at thingiverse but didn't find it. Can you suggest a word to search or the piece?

Best Regards

If  you search on Prusa Prints for 'funnel' there are lots of options.  https://www.prusaprinters.org/search/prints?q=funnel

I was searching but didn't find nothing like this:

Dr. Fill's Water Tunnel - The All Fill - No Spill Water Bottle Funnel : Amazon.co.uk: Home & Kitchen

The Fridge Funnel : 8 Steps (with Pictures) - Instructables

Of course, when i learn more i will do my own, but now will be my first print hehe

Thank you all

You can scan one adapter and then print it.

I'm a little bored so I'll model a version of Dr Fill's funnel for you.  Do you have a Prusa MK3s or a Mini?  Do you know how to use PrusaSlicer if I send a .3mf?

Here this should work.  I don't know how big the mouth on your bottle is, so let me know if there's anything I should change.

Hi matt,

WHATTTTTTTTTTT?? 🙂

I just joined a company that have an i3 MK2S, and don't use it. 🙂 So now I'm just researching to see how all this new world works.

I never used one, but I'm reading the manual and seeing YT Vídeos and this forum.

I never printed anything. Next week i will test the 3d printer, because is in another location, is brand new never used. Hehe

The ideia is that the mouth will be smaller than normal to use in a lot of bottles. Later  i can change and play with that right? 🙂

I can´t see any file in the post.. is supost to download anything?

I'm open to suggestions too.  You want a bully bar on the front to kick the water on?
