Virgin Media in UK blocking
Hello everyone, anyone in the UK know why Virgin Media is blocking this website?
Any ideas?
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Have you tried a different browser?
Morrisons block this site on their free internet, but 'Tor' Browser seems to get around it!

RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Just checked and it’s not accessible to me either without using my vpn. Weird as there’s no reason I can see.
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Works fine for me, on Virgin Broadband.
Sure it's not just slowdown due to all the home workers suddenly using their connections?
I also don't use Virgin's DNS servers.
Normal people believe that if it ainât broke, donât fix it. Engineers believe that if it ainât broke, it doesnât have enough features yet.
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Thank you for your responses. Guess I’ll have to go down the VPN route 😕
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Also, can someone please post the link for the latest stable version of slicer?
using my phone as Virgin Media still blocking Prusa website.
Thank you in advance.

Quick tip. To see the most recent tagged release (final, RC, beta, alpha, etc), just check the releases page instead of going directly to the page for a specific tag:

(Not sure if I used my words right in the above. Hope it is understandable... Need more coffee...)

RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Thank you all for your assistance, now running Prusaslicer 2.4.4 and it's looking very good.
As for the Virgin Media issue, I disabled the parent lock and it has now allowed me to access the Prusa3D website.
I'll just have to keep a closer eye on the kid's 😉
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Can you ask Virgin to add Prusa to your allowed list.

RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
Still happening to me 19/03/2020. I have asked Virgin Media to unblock the site, but no reply as yet. A temporary (or permanent if you wish) fix is to log in to the Virgin Media site and turn off Web Safe (on by default) while you browse prusa3d.com.
RE: Virgin Media in UK blocking
I'm with Virgin but the website linked to by OP seems to be working OK here.
