Now companies who, like Prusa, paid the tariff themselves (and passed it on to customers through general price hikes) are scrambling to get refunded.  As long as you know who is in office everything will be tied up in courts, but refunds could eventually happen.  I wouldn’t hold my breath, though.

Those of us who paid the extra tariffs ourselves, before Prusa stepped up and included it in the purchase price, may have a little better chance of getting a refund, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one either.

At this point though there is now incentive to lower prices temporarily and claim a "sale".

Gentlemen, don't be fooled! If you have already paid the customs duties, you are probably out of luck. The cancellation of duties will probably only apply to future deliveries, not to older ones that were made during the time of increased duties. One reason is that, as the saying goes: "What hell once takes, it never returns!". And the state is acting like Belzebub (the supreme devil, the ruler of hell). Don't forget that. And another reason is that the law must not be retroactive, meaning decisions made before this judgment cannot be changed retroactively.

TBH it's more likely that shipping companies will again refuse to accept parcels for the USA until the legal and financial mess is sorted out.

Well, the orangutan is now bloviating at a 15% tariff. I guess the spoiled child, not getting what he wants, throws his toys across the room.

The only certainty with this administration is chaos. Nothing is predictable. Personally, if I see something I want, and it's available, and I can afford it, I buy it immediately, lest price and/or availability change. I have to give Prusa credit for putting up with this mess and not just ceasing to deal with us, as quite a few other companies have.

Its going to be interesting to see what he does in 150 days when his new 15% tariffs (Taxes on the American people) expire.

In less than a week the tariffs went from 0 to 10% to 15% to 10%. Haven't watched the news today so don’t know if they have changed again??
