Thanks 🙂
Recently I bought what was described as an i3 Mk2.5s. It turned up with just about every plastic part smashed and was actually a mk2.5 with the wrong firmware (mk2.5s) installed. I ended up getting it for free from the postal service because of the damage.
I used my old rickety Tronxy acrylic frame abomination to get it up and running, boot strapping to get increasingly better parts. It now prints beautifully.
I just wanted to say thank you for the clear and easy to follow info, to yourselves and the community for maintaining the knowledge base for the older models and upgrades.
I have made a purchase to show my appreciation in a more tangible way and this should take it as far as it can be upgraded.
It's so nice to print so easily, accuratly and with barely any post processing needed. Thanks Again.
