Seeking Makerspace or school in Worcester, MA (US) area for printer donation

I am in a situation where I need to move unexpectedly within the next 10 days and I have some items that I’m hoping might be useful to a school or Makerspace. Unfortunately, my personal situation will not permit testing, packing, shipping, repairing, or otherwise doing anything more than physically handing a couple of taped up boxes off to someone.

I have 2 workhorse 3D printers that have been unused for a while but can be brought back into operation easily:

  • An Artillery Sidewinder X1. The bed glass is chipped, but I have a replacement aluminum bed and thermal pad still in the box.
  • A Prusa i3 Mk3. One of the stepper motors has gone bad, but I have a boxed replacement. It’s partially disassembled, but Prusa has kit instructions that should allow even a newcomer to get it back in operation in an hour or so.
  • A bookshelf of filament, mostly PLA but other types as well. Some open, some sealed.
  • This stuff can go in a separate box to a 2nd party.
  • Raspberry Pi computers (for OctoPrint): 3 2GB and 1 4GB Raspberry Pi 4 (very hard to find and expensive now). A dozen Raspberry Pi Zero and Zero W boards. Numerous boxed Google Voice, displays, cases, and other accessories.
  • Other electronics related stuff: A lightly used Hako 888D soldering iron and accessories. Arduino boards and accessories. Two drawer cases full of LED strips and similar accessories. Various 1080P monitors. Old but very capable Dell Precision desktop computer (great linux server).

I am not able to parts these out. Looking for an all-or-nothing pickup. Ideally, I'd like this stuff to go to a Makerspace, shool, or other education/community oriented group. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested or know any parties that might benefit.

Hi there! Not sure if you are still looking or have moved already, but if you are still looking for somewhere to take the equipment I run a tech room at a Boys and Girls Club in Dorchester :). We would love to get a printer there and I could come to pick things up!
