Seeking Advice on Optimal Print Settings for Complex Geometries
Hello everyone! I'm currently working on a project that involves printing models with very intricate and complex geometries using my Prusa3D printer. I've been facing some challenges with print quality, especially around fine details and overhangs. Could anyone share their experiences or recommend optimal print settings (like layer height, print speed, support material settings, etc.) to achieve the best results for such detailed prints? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Dora
RE: Seeking Advice on Optimal Print Settings for Complex Geometries
Can't speak specifically, but if you have fine details then reducing nozzle diameter down can help with them. Reducing layer heights can also help with overhangs to a degree.
Regarding supports, best supports are ones with no gap between support and model. If you have a multi material printer, support PLA or PETG with the other, as they REALLY don't like to bond together, tho be careful with temperatures to make it work right.
Please save your project as a .3mf file

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.
