Save the world, one manual at a time...

This is simple, and apologies if it is off-topic, already discussed or anything.

But I'm tinkering of buying a second MK3S+, for which I already have the assembly manual, so I don't need another. But there's no "no manual" option in the store.

I think that it would also be a good practice (if not in place already) to explicitly say which manual version applies to which printer, as obviously there could be some revisions and stuff that changes, which maybe could be done as a PDF. This can also help to decide if you need a printed manual or not.

I guess a few grams of paper saved per printer, can extend to saving a lot of weight, printing costs and all that follows.

We're already  in the business of filling the world with plastic --  Why not at least help to preserve the trees and some of the air.

That's all... 🙂

Happy printing!

I'm loving that sentence -- whether it was on purpose, auto correct, or a Freudian slip!

And yes, it's a good idea. And yes, it has been proposed here before. IMHO, they shouldn't include a printed manual at all. The online version will always be more recent and accurate.

Not a bad idea. I got my hands on the PDF version of the manual for my Mini long before the kit shipped to me, and the assembly manual is all online already. So I have barely looked at the printed one and half of it isn't even relevant to my printer anyway. It's a good assumption that nearly every customer has a computer with internet access so getting online documentation isn't going to be an issue.

Same here. The pdfs are the way to go!

Before I ordered my printer I read the online assembly manual, including the comments, quite thoroughly.

When I got the printer and assembled it, I pulled up the online version on a netbook and had that with me, in lieu of the hardcopy.

If I were calling the shots at Prusa (which I am not) I would go with online/pdf manuals.
