PrusaSlicer - Add Part or Modifier Position Co-ordinates

I am a relative newcomer to PrusaSlicer (I've been using Cura with my Ender 3 but I am in the process of building my new Mk3S) and I'm adding either a part or modifier to my model to act as a localized brim.

What I find odd is that when I move the part into position across the plater, the X & Z co-ordinates for the part change and if I move it up and down, the Y co-ordinates change.

Am I missing something here (a setting perhaps) or is this a bug?

Thanks.

Have you rotated the part prior ?  Modifiers move relative to the part so if you rotate the part and then add a modifier it does change the 'box' that you would expect the changes to display in.

My model is a circular ring and when loaded into PS, it sits upright on its edge. If I don't lay the ring down flat, the co-ordinates boxes make sense. It's only after I lay the ring flat that the co-ordinates look 'weird'.

Thank you for the explanation.
