Whilst I agree entirely with your sentiment and you are not wrong you are also not entirely correct about "impossible".  As an angler I know what happens when a spool of plastic overruns ...... birds nest time. In printing this can happen quite easily if the spool "sticks" on the holder and then goes into overdrive when the extruder pulls it past the tipping point. Exactly the same when fishing when your line bottoms out unexpectedly and your reel is still turning away quite happily. For anglers there's fingers to control the speed, for the big spool equivalent I could only suggest a centred spool holder so there is no wheeee moment when the spool overcomes the offset friction from the stock holder. Prusaprinters has some really nice ones.

It's entirely possible for the end user to cause a spool to be tangled. But a spool simply cannot have a tangle "in the middle of it" caused by Prusa's manufacturing process, that is an impossibility.
