Prusament PETG Printing Issue

Hello,

im first time user of Prusament PETG and i have a issue with it.

When printing Gridfinity Lite box i recognized that the walls break like glass  with no effort (basically squeezing it a bit), first break was at the removal from the flexbed. I have printed many kilos of other brand PETG and never had this issue. My other PETG is though and in no way brittle

Also the temperature tower can be split with no effort on all temperatures i tried (220 to 260)

The other PETG prints fine at 235°C

What i have tried so far w/o success:

- Temperature from 230 to 260 °C

- Fan from 20 to 50 %

- Extrusion multilpier from 0.95 to 1.05

Now i have no more ideas what could be the reason for this.

If someone has an idea i realy woudl appreciate sharing it.

Thanks

Maybe your PETG filament absorbs moisture, you need to put it in a filament Dryer to dry it.

^ this
if it was a roll of filament that previously printed fine, but is now brittle, then it has absorbed water from the air
i store filament in an air tight bin with desiccant (silaca gel) packs, to remove humidity, and use a dryer when printing

clean or replace the nozzle, and clean the hot end, reset the z height if needed
if it was a new roll, it may also be temp or e-step
follow instructions to properly set e-step distances, and print another temp tower

or it could just be a bad roll of filament
