Prusament Design Challenge
Prusa needs a Prusament sticker. Maybe even a logo of sorts? Let's start with the sticker. The box just has PRUSAMENT in negative lettering as a title with the Prusa Polymers logo nearbye. Are there any graphic designers or soon-to-be designers that can take a swing at a sticker design? Preferably in black, orange, white, and 1 or 2 other colors. It's got to look good on a sticker and on a website. In a couple months we'll all vote for our favorites and see if we can get them on Josef's desk.
There are no guarantees Prusa will adopt the idea of including a sticker with their filament. It probably depends on the artistry.
RE: Prusament Design Challenge
I see 2 possibilities there:
1. They hired a designer or asked some graphic guy/gal in-house to design a box that would be minimalistic, cheap, and represent core values of having functional, simple, eco-friendly and "good enough" design.
2. They didn't bother too much with graphic design, just slapped a label to see that it's a Prusament, because it is minimalistic, cheap, and represents core values of having functional, simple, eco-friendly and "good enough" design. 😆
If you buy filaments from them, they are these plain cardboard boxes with simple black text. Including Filament-PM, despite the fact that PM has their own boxes printed in color if you buy from them directly. So maybe this is on purpose? Kind of like old iPod boxes - black and white with silhouette of a person listening to music.
I would not oppose to having some contest of this kind, people can be very creative and something really good can come out of it. Though I guess rules would be to design something minimalistic, cheap, ... you get the point 😉

I much prefer plain boxes, some jurisdictions have issues recycling glossy printed things or things with adhesives on them.
I like a fancy box as much as the next guy, but not at the expense of the environment, especially for a consumable.
Think about how much stuff you've bought that came in fancy decorative boxes, and how long you actually spent looking at the box before shoving it in a closet for warranty reasons or disposing of it...

Probably all of the above is true. I don't know about making a "rule" that it's minimalistic and/or cheap ... but that's probably the type of design that would eventually get Josef's approval. I'd like to see all concepts have a shot.

It's not a contest to change the box design. We're just proposing a brand appropriate sticker be included with and order of Prusament. Much like many other manufacturers send stickers, I would like to see Prusa do something similar.

Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you are talking about the box.
Sticker would be very neat!
RE: Prusament Design Challenge
Maybe incorporate the Easter Egg found on the flap of the Prusament box?

If you break down a Prusament box you'll find this

With all the boxes I have opened, I must be blind.

I love the new "Blend" colors they're releasing. The pink and blue both look amazing and I can't wait to get the green. So a sticker highlighting the colors would be nice, but I'll leave artistry to the artists.
