Prusa Research branded 32G USB Drive (shipping with XL) not readable on Macbook w/Sonoma
This is so odd, curious if anyone else has this issue.
The USB drive is factory formatted fat32, works well in the XL and on Windows 11 PC.
Not detected when plugged into Macbook Pro (M3 processor) with Sonoma, not even seen by Disk Utility.
I don't have any issues reading other fat32 formatted USB drives with the Macbook.
In my experience this appears to be some kind of hardware incompatibility.
Even tried reformatting the Prusa USB drive to exFat as a test, still not detected by the Macbook.

RE: Prusa Research branded 32G USB Drive (shipping with XL) not readable on Macbook w/Sonoma
I just tried my USB key - received it in Jan 2024 so not very old, FAT32, 32GB. On my M2 Max MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.4 it reads fine. Note that I have it plugged into a USB-C dock since my laptop doesn't have USB-A ports (grrr).
Could it be the dock you're using since I believe you also don't have USB-A ports?

@MikeB_1505898 . . . ty the article seems to explain the behavior I'm seeing, much appreciated !!
I have two different adapters; an Apple C to A dongle and a Hyperdrive, no luck with either.

Mine works OK with the Apple USB-C to A dongle (M1 Max MacBook Pro 16 running Sonoma 14.4)
