RE: Product Review - Layerneer Original Bed Weld 3d Printing Adhesive
I always clean my hotbed with 91% IPA. Now what i noticed doing this with this product is that it quantifies to "rejuvinating" the coating which im not sure if i should be doing still(cleaning with IPA after every print) so with my current print i tested not cleaning with IPA before printing. So far, the prints are holding up 😁

I almost always use IPA to clean the build plates, PEI, textured, and glass. I still have some 'denatured' ethanol, which I picked up during the height of the pandemic when IPA was scarce and sometimes I use that. Both seem to work equally well in getting fingerprints and various gunk off of the build plates.
I have one PEI plate which is about three years old and has been cleaned with IPA/ethanol and coated with Layerneer countless times and it still works fine.
As I said, if anything, the adhesion increases with use.
There's also anecdotal evidence that the textured build plates behave the same, kind of like 'seasoning' a grill.

So IPA over the layerneer after evry print is still ok?
RE: Product Review - Layerneer Original Bed Weld 3d Printing Adhesive
Yes, you can kind of buff the surface of the Layerneer with an alcohol-soaked paper towel and it will smooth it out and get it ready for the next print.
When you want to remove the Layerneer, you can just use a bit more IPA or EToH and it will take it off.

Yup kinda what i do but i spray the IPA and buff usually with clothing but ive trying the Blue "scotch brite" thingy to take out the stubborn PETG (prior to Layerneer)
