The printer is printing in mid-air because the filament is jammed in the spool holder, resulting in the loss of several meters of filament before I noticed. I designed a ring to prevent this; I'll see if it works with a new spool. Is there a setting I might have overlooked when setting up the machine after assembly? I never had this problem with my MK4S. I haven't had any problems so far with the spools of filament I've already started using.

Have a good day,

Eric57

Yes, that happens a lot, especially with Prusament spools. That's why I no longer print from the side spool and only print from a drybox which is better constrained.

Eric57
