Printables: arbitrary and unexplained adding of NSFW tag to models
So I put up a dice tower with a mannequin that had nipples, but no other naughty-bit details. It's the kind of thing you see all the time in museums, but for some reason some admin at Printables tagged it NSFW.
Okay, fine, so I redid the model, smoothed off the nipples, and even added a panty on the groin; if the mannequin was hearing a bodysuit, it would look the same. Here's the link: https://www.printables.com/model/1480818-sexy-cute-dice-tower-and-tray-safe-for-work-ignore.
But once again someone at Printable tagged if NSFW, with no explanation.
Was I ever offered a reason for the tag being imposed? No.
And I searched, but there's no indication of any appeal process to get this bogus NSFW label removed.
That's no way to run a model-sharing site.
Why did I even bother putting models up?
RE: Printables: arbitrary and unexplained adding of NSFW tag to models
Well, I would indeed not put that model on my desk in the office.

I guess not all offices allow desktop roll-playing games? 😉
I'll let myself out.
RE: Printables: arbitrary and unexplained adding of NSFW tag to models
Would you object to someone having a Barbie doll on their desk?
Well, I would indeed not put that model on my desk in the office.
RE:
I'll just take down the Bowdlerized model, then. No reason to have both if they're both going to be considered NSFW for some reason no one can give me.
The original model was getting way more downloads anyway.
RE: Printables: arbitrary and unexplained adding of NSFW tag to models
I would get in trouble looking at models in bikinis at work, so yes... It's not safe for work.
