Printing an enclosure is a big job for a new machine and can be tricky to get right without tuning settings first. Parts falling over usually means bed adhesion or support settings need adjusting. You are not doing anything wrong, this happens to many beginners. There are people who offer 3D printing services and could print the enclosure parts for you and ship them. That might be the easiest option for now so your son can enjoy using the printer. In the meantime, you could focus on small simple prints to build confidence.
