PETG on PEI sheet, adhesion and test strip removal
I print PETG on the smooth PEI sheet quite a bit. This works well for tall thin prints with a small footprint.
I found that the strip of filament that gets extruded along the front edge of the sheet can be really difficult to remove, and over time, removing it damaged the PEI coating. Furthermore, as I shaved it off, it would break into pieces that shot all over the room.
Solution? Rub your finger on your nose, and smear a bit of skin oil along that front part of the PEI sheet. The test strip of filament will peel right off. Works like a charm!

Kapton tape along the prime line also works wonders.
