Petg help

Now I see why people use pla… sheesh petg is hard to print. Anyway, this is a printer test I started printing then stopped to change settings. The bridging done very well, much better than I expected. As you can see there is a lot of stringing. Also, if you look at the spot that was supposed to be the overhang test the layer lines a fairly prominent, it’s hard to see in a picture but it is, and if you look from the side you can see where it is wider as well, this can also be seen on the string test section, it is narrow at the bottom then wide then back to narrow. I have adjusted and adjusted and adjusted and still can get it right. What should I do?

RE: Petg help

There's a lot of factors that can impact print quality. I don't necessarily think PETG is any harder to print with than any other material, but it can be a little fussy from what I've seen from others' experience.

I print in PETG almost exclusively and have had great success with good quality filaments (Overture, Hatchbox, Prusament) and using the default PETG profiles in PrusaSlicer.

lease don't link to external images, post here.

Dry your filament, return to defaults, and reprint.  How are the layer lines now?
