Here at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology we have a pretty nice 3D-printing lab!

We also have a Arcam A2X titanium printer, along with a SLS printer.

Re: Our Print Lab

A few questions
Where do the filaments load from?
How noisy is it under full operation. ?
Any need for enclosures?
Do fumes get noticeable?

Re: Our Print Lab

The filaments loads from plastic tubes that lay perpendicular across the racks. The spools hang on these.

Even though the lab consists of mainly mk2's and mk2.5's, the noise level is not bad at all.

We mainly print with PLA and PETG occationally, so no need for enclosures. If need be, we have some IKEA lack enclosures, or the Ulitmaker S5.
