Normal Nextruder gear gap?

Hi!

Long story short, I've noticed that the gap between the Nextruder gear and the rear in the assembly manual (for the MK4) is almost non existant. See attached image and red circle. The same gap for my assembly is significantly larger, and you can see on the image that the filament is not being fed at the center of the gear. Is this an issue? Should my gap be as small as the assembly manual?

I just had a mysterious failure to load to nozzle for some reason, thinking this might be the issue.

If this is "wrong", would the proper procedure to just reassemble the nextruder gearbox (with the alignment tool etc)?

Thanks in advance.

Have a look: That is the situation on my printer (MK4S) - came as a kit. I never had problems with filament transport or loading or disloading. It is not nice looking but not making any problem. Best regards, Clemens

Thank you for the reassurance Clemens. I removed, cut my filament, and re-inserted it again and it loaded fine. I suppose it was just a one-off fluke. Good to know that all is well!
