NEW MK3 prints twice then PINDA crashes.
I was having troubles at the end of the week last week thinking it was PINDA related. After coming back from several days on the road I fire up the MK3 to successfully print 2 prints. After those 2 prints I try to send a 3rd and the PINDA starts to act up. It won't hit it's first point and forces calibration, that's how I ended last night.
This morning, after 5 hours of being powered off, I send 2 prints and it's perfect. When trying on the 3rd, PINDA fails and I'm crashing into the print bed.
Seems to print awesome for those 2 prints...Thoughts? I did read similar problems and someone pointed to firmware. I'm on the latest version currently and I also tried 3.6 and ran into the same issues.

do you have a bed level command in your gcode? there is a report if you do multiple prints without a bed level in each the Z moves down by the live Z amount.

Also - PINDA code doesn't appear to follow calibration temps, either. So best to heat PINDA to 40c before moving on (PLA use) or even hotter for other filaments. Basically run 1 is highest, run 2 the PINDA is less sensitive, and run 3 the PINDA needs to be very close to metal. So heat it up before running the mesh.

Tim posted a really useful startup GCode customization routine which preheats the PINDA. Stops ooze too.
Maybe he can provide a link.
(40C was too aggressive for me. I tried to change it to 35C - and wound up with 350C. Check your edits carefully...)

I'll wait for rmrecords to reply - see if he is even following the thread.
