MK3 vs Mk2.5 bed size

What is the difference in the build plates for the MK3 and Mk2.5 or bed sizes?

Re: MK3 vs Mk2.5 bed size

if my observations are correct
mk2.5 and mk3 beds are the same size BUT
mk2.5 mk52 bed is 12 volts and has 8 mounting points,
mk3 mk52 bed is 24 volt and has 9 mounting points,
additionally the front and back right hand mounting point screws line up with the y axis holes on the mk2 / 2.5 y platform,
the left hand front and back mk52 24 volt mounting holes are about 5mm to the left of the holes in the mk2 / 2.5 y platform
none of the remaining 5 holes in the mk3 heatbed, line up with any of the holes on the mk2 / 2.5 y platform.

Nope, not the same!

MK2/s build volume: 25 x 21 x 20 cm | 9.84 x 8.3 x 8 in
MK3 build volume: 25 x 21 x 21 cm | 9.84 x 8.3 x 8.3 in

RE: MK3 vs Mk2.5 bed size

Considering the z index isn't part of the build plate, I'd call them the same... ;p
