Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
I searched on this forum and by Google re: steps to recover the menu list on the left. One suggested I press Shift/Tab but that didn't fix it. Another post was all in German. I was playing around with an .stl in Platter when suddenly all the icons went grey along the left. Then they completely disappeared. Windows has that problem with the ribbon. It's easy to press the wrong key inadvertently and have the ribbon disappear. How might I reinstate that menu with Rotate, Scale, etc. ?
Thank you.
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
Walter - That worked perfectly. Any idea how I might have inadvertently toggled that function off?
I like having it on all the time so I didn't do that intentionally.
A lot of people turn the redlining on in MS Word inadvertently.
Thank you so very much for both your help and quick reply.
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
Look in the View menu, there is a shortcut listed for this: Shift+Tab
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
Hi Walter...Now that Slice Now button on the bottom right is missing. I read Forum posts and Google and it said to ensure the Background Processing is not checked so in the Config > General uncheck the chechmark but it is not checked. Another post advised I toggle between the 1 box on the bottom left (3D Preview) but if I press that or press it again I never get that Slice Now button back. Thank you.
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
quick follow up - Experimenting I see you have to expand the Sidebar with the double arrows in the upper left.
Thank you.
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
After disabling the Background Processing and confirming the setting, you have to quit PrusaSlicer and start it again. Then you'll have the Button to start slicing on the bottom right. But I really don't see why one would like to have that, perhaps except on a very slow computer.
RE: Menu Lost - Prusa Slicer
Walter - that's what we have at this small library - very old, slow PCs. 🙂
Thank you.
