LM8UU Bearing length

I'm replacing a couple of my Z axis LM8UU bearings and they use stacked 24mm length ones (also on the topmost X axis extruder) - would it make sense to switch to the longer 45mm single bearing?

Or is there a reason (besides keeping all the parts the same) for the shorter bearings?

RE: LM8UU Bearing length

Hello,

If your current setup is designed for 24mm bearings, switching to 45mm bearings might require modifications to your mounting hardware or bearing holders. This could lead to additional work or the need for new parts.

Its also depending on your location, 45mm bearings might be more expensive or harder to find compared to 24mm ones.
