Layer shifting on Prusa i3 MK1

Hello, Be Ball Players

I have a Prusa i3 MK1 printer and I have been experiencing layer shifting on some of my prints. The problem occurs randomly and affects different axes. Sometimes the print shifts to the left, sometimes to the right, sometimes forward or backward. The shift can be small or large and it ruins the print.

I am using PLA filament at 210°C nozzle and 60°C bed temperature. I am using PrusaSlicer 2.3.3 with the default settings for the MK1. I have attached a photo of one of the prints that shifted.

I have checked the belts and they seem to be tight enough. I have also lubricated the rods and the bearings. I have not changed anything in the firmware or hardware of the printer.

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue and how to fix it? I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Latonya86Dodson
