excited about this new filament, but i hope that future iterations of Prusament are offered on a ReSpool type system to bring the cost down.

This will be offered under US Prime shipping. Prusa mentioned it in Joel Telling's interview that he posted today.

I would halve that. It really is good stuff. I have printed with Silver, Galaxy and Lipstick so far. Really goes down nicely.

Only issue I had was with the original MMU2 spool holders; it's would way too well and when feeding from the right of the spool, it creates additional friction 🙁

I really like the Prusament anouncement and I am looking forward to ordering great filament. However I'm very curious, if Prusa Research intends to manufacture Prusament PETG, since PETG is my go-to-filament for everything that is beyond prototyping.
I would be willing to pay a reasonable price for some really good PETG!

Well, apparently my kit shipped with a roll of silver Prusament,which was a nice bonus. If you recently received a printer or kit you can check at prusament.com. I decided to check after reading about the nice spool winding of Prusament which i also noticed on the roll with my printer. There was no indication that prusament was sent with my kit and it was received end of August, so before the announcement that it was coming out.

I have to say it is easy to print and makes very nice looking prints, but now that I know what it is I will need to conserve it until it is available for purchase on Amazon and use other filament for test pieces.

Apparently, PETG and ASA are also scheduled to be sold as well (per the website) and I am very interested in the PETG once that becomes available.

I was wondering, is it correct that the Amazon shipping would only be for the US? I'd love to be able to order with Amazon in the EU too. Not so much for free shipping as 1-day shipping at least. If I need a roll of filament I often need it right now 😉

Prusament on Amazon? If they ever offer it, it will sell out quickly. I would love to see the whole line offered in the US by Amazon. They have to fix the supply chain issues first.

True, I probably should trust the official announcement. It was just that in an interview with Josef he only mentioned the US 🙂

I am waiting for White PLA prusament, aswell as ASA.
