Lack Printer Table without MMU2S
I'm assembling the V2 of the Lack printer table but need to figure out a solution for the filament. I do not currently own the MMU2S and will probably not be buying it anytime soon. What would be the best way to mount the filament? Is there a way to use the V2 holes for the filament without the MMU2S?
RE: Lack Printer Table without MMU2S
My V2 holes are for ventilation...
I made a hole in the top, centered over the extruder. A double plastic bushing fills the hole and passes the filament.
A single role of filament sits on a carriage and rides on roller skate bearings, and feeds straight down into the hole.
All parts from Thingiverse.
Works for me.

Some filament guide similar to this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2156762/ and spoolholder sitting above it?
RE: Lack Printer Table without MMU2S
I have used the filament guide that Crawlerin posted since rebuilding my enclosure as a V2. No complaints, and I like the fact that it is wider to prevent the potential for the filament binding when the extruder is all the way left or right. Note, I used the original one that was from the non MMU lack without issue before, so it is just speculation that the wider version helps.
Using 1/2 inch PVC pipe and connectors to build a spool stand that allows for all different configurations of spool sizes and locations. Anything that does not encourage binding should be fine. That is the great thing about the lack enclosures, so many people make great improvements and additions that there are so many upgrades out there.
Strange women, laying in ponds, distributing swords, is hardly a basis for a system of governance!

I like the small round hole in the center because the filament feeds straight down from the reel. The double cone means the filament only touches at one point - right in the center of the bushing.
