Issue with Recent Online PRUSA Purchase - Credit Card Hacked and Used at ATM

On December 29, 2023, I placed an order with PRUSA for the MK3S to MK4 upgrade kit and a spool of PETG filament.  Within a day, my company credit card I used for the purchase was used overseas at an ATM.  I only used this credit card within the last few weeks for this purchase.  It clearly appears there is a security issue with the PRUSA payment system.  To say that I am displeased is an understatement.  If PRUSA wishes for me to continue doing business with them, they will resolve this issue immediately.  We will see about the balance of their service and when I receive the purchased items.

Such issues should be directed to Prusa Support via email, and not via forums.

I appreciate the feedback and had notified PRUSA of this issue.  I wanted to alert individuals on this website of this issue.  I have protections on my credit card through my financial institution here in the USA, where this will be resolved on my end.  It still is not appropriate to purchase great products directly from PRUSA using their website, to then have someone test out access to my credit card by making a small withdrawal which will never be recovered, for a potential larger withdrawal in the future.

Some companies do card check by small amount charge ( something like a 1 to 5 dollars etc) to test the card if it is working, after that money is returned or transaction is cancelled. See https://www.nerdwallet.com/au/credit-cards/what-is-this-charge-on-my-credit-card for mor details.

I had that few times in the past, really annoying.

Of course it is okay to be cautious and double check transactions anyway.

I have seen that done, but the amount was more more than 5 USD and the transaction on my account indicated "ATM WD Foreign Transaction".    Since the total purchase amount for the items cleared the day before, this was clearly a fraudulent withdrawal of funds from my account.
