Hot End Gooing Up With PETG
It seems whenever I print PETG the hot slowly goos up, especially on the first layer. I think it has cost me a couple of prints in a bad way. The last print had a good amount of material on the hot end, but didn't cause an issue. I've also been know to pause the print and pull it off with pliers. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? Does it need a new nozzle?
Thank you
RE: Hot End Gooing Up With PETG
Before replacing the nozzle try first drying the filament. PETG isn't exactly a friendly customer if it's wet. As you see, it likes sticking to the nozzle, dropping blobs and zits everywhere and all kind of trouble, Of course, some brands of PETG filaments are worse than others in this regard. You should tell us the model of printer and the brand/color of this filament. That will help us to diagnose the problem.
BTW is it a regular nozzle or a HF one ?
