Forum language tracking is broken
Forum language tracking is broken
I routinely get messages from the forum in languages other than my default (English). I have gotten messages in German, and I believe I just got one in Spanish (all I caught was the word "tiempo" before it was lost). It's random and buggy.
I am sure the admin is aware, but if not, here you are. These forums are awfully... glitchy... for something that has been a feature of the internet for a very long time.
RE: Forum language tracking is broken
Thank you for your message,
Unfortunately, some people use their native language in the English forum (Particularly SPAMMERS)
we moderators, do our best to keep this under control,
If you get foreign language messages, could you please 'report' them, using the report button at the bottom of the post, and we will either ban and remove spam, or move posts to the correct forum.
regards Joan

RE:
I think the OP is talking about the website generated response to things like making posts, checking notifications, etc.
I finally got tire of Chrome doing all sorts of obnoxious things on many websites and switched to Edge. Edge behaves - buttons work, no language issues, posting and editing work - and these things are now correct across many sites that appeared broken with Chrome (even incognito is broken on Prusa3d.com).
Edge is slower, has quirks, and while I really prefer how Chrome does things, I can't argue with the fact Edge works where Chrome doesn't. Others use Mozilla Firefox with similar improvements.
ps: going back to trabajanto, yes, the Prusa site is sending you responses in other languages, regardless of browser. this has been an issue for a very long time.
