Expansion Port on Buddy Board
Hi All,
I'm planning to add some external features to my Prusa Mini; to do that I would have to access to the expansion pins present on the Buddy board. Has anyone ever tried to do somethings like that? It is even possible?
Many thanks in advance

If it is for ESP01, my assumption is, that it will be able via Rx/Tx serial link communicate with the board. So firmware changes will be required to reuse it serial link for some other stuff. Like connecting there ESP/Ardiuno kind of boards and use their unlimited possibilities.

Hi John, yeah good idea! Actually it could be a very complete way to interact with the board!
But I'm afraid that using the RX and TX channel can create some conflict when using it in combination with a USB pendrive.
As a starting point to interact with the board, it could be sufficient to pull up or down few pins for what I require ...

I saw this last night and wondered what it was used to do.

Anyone tried using those ports to control another stepper (to add another extruder and handle mixed colors)?
