Do heavy filament spools attached to the MK4 top rail affect vibration?

Do filament spools on the top rail (3kg total at this point) positively or negatively affect printer performance and print quality? Do they act as dampers to lessen vibration, or somehow as amplifiers to keep it going?

In the meantime, here's how I'm keeping transmitted vibrations to an absolute minimum:

There's no noticeable affect with the same setup on the Mk3.  The transmitted vibrations make no difference to print quality but your system will break the transmission of vibration to the tabletop which, if you happen to hit a resonant frequency, can be noisy.  If this does hapen btw, just placing a heavy weight on the table can be enough to change the frequency and kill the noise.

Cheerio,
