Core One + Upgrade failure
Guys I'm at my whit's end,
My recently updated Mk4s to Core One+ upgrade started ok with first prints coming out ok, but slow with more time recalibrating and Probing than printing, but I thought it would improve.
Well, no, it hasn't improved and I'm really feeling disappointed as this is my 3rd Prusa upgrade kit in 7 years of ownership with previous 2 being easy and no problems, but this one has been a pain in the butt.
It just will not work at all with the brand new 'textured sheet' with reports od 'Collision' with every attempt, so I change back to the old sheet and sometimes it works fine, then the next it spends 30 minutes doing checks and probing, then suddenly reporting another 'collision'. Hour later of yet another 'Z' calibration and then it passes, but next print shows an uneven 'Z' deck, so I need to re calibrate again. Great, probing 25 points, then another 'collision' , another 25 probes, and hours later is tries to print what it was sent. Sometimes it works ok, but mostly it misses the deck and another failed print. Have photo's, vid's but do I just give up and move on to another brand or what.
Just really feeling let down with yet another $1000 going to an upgrade, but it just wont print consistently.
Very frustrated, but really, really hoping that there is some support to fix permanently, not just another experiment guineapig.
