Complete print fail 🙁

Hi.

I am new in printing and have a Prusa Mini.

It has worked fine until recently. I have printed 6 different items that all worked fine.

Now the printer is having difficulties in putting the first layer smooth.

At different places on the surface it makes 'dents' while placing the first layer, it quite random where but it seems that if one stretch of PLA is having a dent then the next stretch also get a dent the same place. You can see it on the first picture lower left.

This time I decided to let it continue even though it wasn't nice and I left the printer (for too long) and was busy doing other stuff and the printer failed completly and

1. Ditched the baseplate and ejected it onto the table 2. A big blob filled the extruder. following pictures ☹️

I had cleaned the baseplate with soap and water beforehand and I had baked the PLA for 2 hours at 60 degreess celsius to get rid of potential moist.

So: What went wrong? and How can I get the printer working again?

Sorry for being an a.. at printing....

Are those fingerprint patterns?  We usually advise dishwashing detergent and HOT water as that shifts most of the residues that the usual IPA won't - but of course, if you've been handling something insoluble in soapy water then that won't work either.  What have you been using around the printer or just before setting it up that might have contaminated the surface and what dissolves that?

You have a 'Blob of Doom' - search for that phrase on here to find out how others have dealt with them -  with PLA it should come free fairly easily 'though you may need to print a new fan shroud.

Cheerio,
