Cheers!

As mentioned in another thread, I will be moving to The Dark Side of the Force. I need a larger print volume than what my Core One offers, and need multi (mostly dual) material printing now. Since the XL is not an option for a variety of reasons, a Bambu Lab H2D should be on my doorstep shortly.

Which probably means that I will spend a lot of time in Bambu forums going forward, since there are bound to be questions and problems with the new machine. I aim to sell the Core One since I can't really justify having two printers, so I won't be able to provide first-hand answers on this forum anymore, and expect to stop by sporadically at best.

I really enjoyed the interaction with you folks -- especially during the early days of Core One kits when we had a lot to explore and figure out together. But to this day I am impressed by some of the highly skilled contributors, their untiring willingness to help others with technical questions, their hit rate in remote-diagnosing issues, and their balanced stance regarding Prusa's strengths and weaknesses. I will miss that on the Bambu forums, where the audience is a bit different.

Continue to enjoy your Prusa printer(s) -- and if it's a Core One or Core One L, fingers crossed that INDX will appear real soon now and will work smoothly!

Cheers,
Jürgen

P.S. If anyone is interested in a meticulously built Core One (kit), located in Hamburg/Germany, please drop me a direct message! 😉

Hi Jürgen.

I hope you have a lot of success and enjoyment with your new printer. Since I had an X1C myself, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun with the H2D. T

hanks for your guidance and for your help via private message.

See you soon :))

Thanks for all your contributions! Hope the H2D works out. I've read mixed things about it so maybe at some point you can come back here and post your experiences.

While in general Bambu seems the closest one can get to foolproof printing, I am bracing myself for a not-entirely-smooth ride. To calibrate my expectations, I have prepared a list of all the teething issues the Core One had (or still has). By the time it got to 16 items, I was ready to take the plunge...

Happy to report back here once I am a few months in!
