Calibration interupted

Hi there, yesterday evening I started to calibrate my new CORE ONE+. Printer led me step by step from language selection through door sensor calibration to the head calibration. Then printer start to make a noise that I had to switch whole process off because my neighbors would kill me for that. Now I try to start calibration again but printer does not offer the calibration option. How can I start the automatic calibration again????? Printer knows the calibration is not finished but I dont know how to continue. Any suggestions or any manual how to achieve this? Thanks for help.

You have probably found it by now, but just to be sure: Calibration is accessible via the printer's menu. Go to Control > Calibration & Tests.

Yes I have it. Thanks. There is worse problem. The Z axis test goes terrybly wrong. Front motors are not able to move. They only make huge noise.

RE: Calibration interupted

Have you double-checked that all three Z motors are connected, and their connectors seated properly in the little distributor PCB in the bottom? If one of them does not move, the other two will get stuck as well.

With the motors (or the whole printer) powered off, can you turn all lead screws by hand and do they move freely? We have seen several reports lately where some of the black trapezoidal nuts were not manufactured correctly and got stuck on the lead screws. You can also try to remove the M3 screws which attach the nuts to the bed, so you can rotate just each nut on its own to see if it moves freely.

An alternative cause for the jam may be too much lateral strain on the trapezoidal nuts. Their position is over-constrained by design; it needs to align with the bed position defined by the smooth rods. You can do the following to make sure the nuts all sit in "relaxed" lateral positions: Make sure the bed all the way down. For all three black trapezoidal nuts at once, loosen the two M3 screws that hold them to the bed -- this lets the nuts settle in the correct lateral position. Then retighten the screws -- do not overtighten, the nuts are plastic (POM).

I had a super loud squeeking when z-axis was moving a bit faster.

Contacted support and sent a movie when moving z-axis. They asked me to loosen the three trapezoidal nuts and make sure they could move freely up and down.

when loosen the front left nut there were a high ”boing” sound and the rod swayed quite a lot.
After putting the nuts back the movement up-down was much less noisier, not silent but much better.

Support also told me to greeze the threaded rods.

I bough the printer mounted.

That "boing" sound is an extreme example for the trapezoidal nuts being under lateral tension. The way the kit instructions describe the assembly of the Z drive, this is quite likely to occur: They first let you bolt down the trapezoidal nuts via their M3 screws; the lateral position is a bit random there because of the screw hole tolerances. Then at later stage the smooth vertical rods are "jammed in", and can potentially cause a lot of strain. It should be the other way round: First place the vertical rods (which do not have any position tolerance or adjustment); then fixate the trapezoidal nuts.

I also used the included grease on my lead screws eventually. My Z drive did not jam, but made loud "groaning" noises during longer vertical travel. Lubricating the lead screws made the drive work quietly.

The problem was in the black plastic screws at the bottom of iron rods. In the manual there is a notice in the step 31
https://help.prusa3d.com/cs/guide/4-sestaveni-vyhrivane-podlozky_982268#988461

Once the screws are tightened, loosen them by a quarter turn to provide a small amount of leeway.

I had the screws tighten too much.
