Having a strange issue with a particular filament profile. I copied the Das Filament PLA profile and modified the bed and nozzle temperatures. Anytime I try to print with that profile I get a "Reloading Filament" message followed by a "Stuck Filament Detected" right after it does it's last nozzle purge/sweep to begin printing. If I unload and reload the filament it resumes the print and everything works fine. I do not get this behavior when I use the default Das Filament PLA profile, the Prusament PLA profile or a copied profile of the Generic PETG profile which I modified for Das Filament. If I turn off the "Stuck Filament Detection" setting it works as expected. Tried recopying the default profile multiple times with the same results. What am I missing here?

Hello,

For context I own 4 mk3s printers and one I have recently converted to Mk3,5s and 0.6mm nozzle after putting roughly 1500hours on it. I am finding using the first layer calibration tool gives good results but when you go to print a part at say 0.32mm layer height 0.2mm first layer, the first layer is way off and I have to adjust z offset to get a good first layer again. I also have to slow it down to roughly 50% speed. once I have a good first layer I can crank the speed back up to 100% and get a good part.

It appears like the first layer tool doesn't apply z offset appropriately depending on what layer height you print at. same issue for PLA OR PETG smooth or textured bed. No improvement with dried filament and printer in tent. Tried clean beds (soapy water) or with glue stick no difference.

Slicer 2.9.4

Firmware 6.5.3

Good morning,

I have been experiencing problems with my Core One+ for the past few days. It is no longer printing properly, and during calibration the filament sensor test fails. The printer had been running without any issues since December 2025.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine what is causing the issue. I have attached the log.txt file log from this morning — perhaps someone can identify the problem from it.

I would greatly appreciate a quick response.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

I noticed that for the first few layers PrusaSlicer is adding a lot of small outside perimeters and a lot of travel in between instead of extruding two continuous perimeters like it does a few layers above. I'd like to always have continuous extrusion for better surface finish of the print and I cannot switch to vase mode because I need 2 wall thickness for increased opacity. It it this model printed on a core one+ and all defaults profiles show the same behavior. Do you know which settings should I tweak to get rid of these small perimeters in the first layers ?

Many small perimeters causing a lot of travels and irregularities in the print:

Then a continuous extrusion:
