BEST FILAMENT DRYER???
Does anybody have any recommendations on which filament dryer to buy? It seems like almost all of them out there a cheaply made foreign rubbish.
I heard the Printdry Pro 3 is a good choice, but the price is a little hard to swallow. I watched a couple of video reviews and people say that it's great but the technology in the dryer unit seems like it came from a food dehydrator.
Can anybody help?
RE: BEST FILAMENT DRYER???
Rather than asking the same question again, would it not be better to explain why the previous recommendations are not suitable.
RE: BEST FILAMENT DRYER???
I'm glad you brought that up, to be honest. I actually did end up purchasing the Sunlu s2 that someone on here recommended. But after purchasing, I started to search the dryer on google and microsoft. Soon after, I saw a lot of bad reviews and people complaining about how poor quality it was and that the heater would get stuck on to the max temp.
So, I canceled the order. Then I looked up one other recommendation from here, the Print-Dry Pro 3. I was planning on purchasing it but the price was a little hard to swallow. Also, I watched a video on youtube and someone explained that its a great dryer, but the technology is really far back in the past.
That is why I started a fresh topic on this to maybe get different recommendation, or for someone to come in and say that maybe one of these is a great dryer or something

Not really sure what you expect to hear.

So what? If you're looking for a great dryer, the PrintDry is one, and who cares how it works and what some rando on YouTube opines.
the price was a little hard to swallow
So you're not *really* looking for the best dryer but one that fits your budget? That's perfectly okay but then you should indicate what your budget is.
I love my PrintDry but plenty of people have converted food dehydrators into filament dryers, which is probably the cheapest option (albeit not necessarily the best).

Any good sized food dehydrator. Mine is a Gourmia - can dry up to three filament spools at a time, any temp.
