Bed leveling failed
Can anyone help message Bed leveling failed. Sensor didn't trigger. Debris on nozzle? Waiting for reset message on prusa i3 mk3s have been onto prusu but after hours of try this and try that sending videos no further forward was going to order another prusa but now beginning to have second thoughts
OK, lets go step-by-step:
Check the PINDA is working:
Does the PINDA show a light when switched on?
Does the light go out when you bring a steel object close to its tip?
Whereabouts in the World are you?
There may be a user close by who could help in person: https://world.prusa3d.com/

RE: Bed leveling failed
Pinder is fine ilight goes off when you place metal under it was working fine software has been updated when you do z axis test you get above message
Good.
I presume you have gone through the (super)PINDA setting up at:
https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/9-preflight-check_176167
If not, make certain the nozzle tip is clean then follow the instructions there.
You MUST go through XYZ calibration and first layer Z calibration afterwards.
Still fails?
Repeat the procedure but use a credit card in place of the zip-tie.
Still fails?
Be careful here.
Repeat the procedure but turn the printer on and watch the PINDA light.
place a sheet of paper on the build plate, loosen the PINDA and drop it to the surface - does the light go out?
If so, slide another sheet under the first - does the light go out?
Repeat until it does then remove three sheets and tighten the PINDA in place.
NOW MEASURE THE THICKNESS OF THE REMAINING PAPER STACK.
If the thickness is less than 0.5mm your PINDA is probably running under spec and should be replaced.
If over 0.5mm calibrate and go...
