Anyone using AI (like ChatGPT) in their 3D printing workflow?

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with AI tools like ChatGPT alongside my 3D printing projects, mostly as a way to speed up certain parts of the workflow. For example:
Getting quick help with G-code commands (like custom filament unload after a print). Asking for general troubleshooting steps when I hit a weird print issue. Brainstorming ideas for new print projects or even parametric design tips.
I don’t rely on it as a final source of truth (nothing beats learning by doing and reading real tutorials), but I’ve found it handy for getting “second opinions” or quick suggestions when I’m stuck.Curious to hear your experiences — or if you think AI has no real place in 3D printing at all.

I actually tried that a few days ago to troubleshoot my print issues, but it wound up going in circles. Wasted a lot of time and filament. It didn't wind up helping at all, hence why I'm in the forums right now.

I refuse to use AI. If at all possible.
I have seen Terminator and the Matrix one too many times... Plus, I value my job.

AI can sometimes overcomplicate things because it doesn’t “see” the printer’s real conditions or know your exact setup. I mostly use it now for quick references (like G-code commands or general ideas) rather than hands-on troubleshooting.

I sent it pictures of the filament test and it was able to accurately describe the issue. I also was able to give it my print settings file, it read it, suggested changes, and we iteratively worked through about 9 prints before I realized it was going in circles. I gave up at that point and have been trying to work through it manually.
