Issues with print bed adhesion, failed supports and the like are not unique to FDM, with SLA 3D printing prone to its own particular set of printing woes. Fear not though as we’re starting to expand this guide to reflect the rise in affordable desktop SLA printing thanks to the likes of the Peopoly Moai and Anycubic Photon, offering 3D printing troubleshooting advice for those of you up to your elbows in resin with nary a print to show for it.

Any time you remove or adjust the hot end, including changing a nozzle you should expect to have to adjust your live z at least and possibly have to redo the calibration (as some nozzles might be longer/shorter than the e3d ones).  I always back the live z right off after changing the nozzle and then work down again with a calibration square to get a new live z value.  If I have had to change the heatblock/heatbreak then I usually recalibrate too.  If its just a disassembly of the hotend and reassembly (like if I've been re-greasing the X axis bearings etc) then the recalibration isnt usually required.
