Adhesive for TPU to PETG
I am working on a project that requires some TPU parts and I need to glue them to PETG parts. I have tried both superglue and polyurethane so far with little success. In both cases, the TPU separated from the PETG. Adhesive stuck to the PETG, not the TPU. I do need a decent bond.
Searches on the web have not lead to any success.
RE: Adhesive for TPU to PETG
I have successfully printed PETG on TPU with a simple color change in PrusaSlicer and increasing the nozzle (not the bed!) temperature up to PETG level. No adhesives at all. Both parts have a solid bond. I used SainSmart TPU 95/A Black and Amazon Basic Clear PETG (because that was just loaded in the dryer for another print).
It was this model: https://www.printables.com/model/914645-sennheiser-rs-185-hdr-185-headband
I posted a make there that I still use today, more than a year later, and print still looks like in the photo there.
RE: Adhesive for TPU to PETG
I use GOOP. If the parts cannot be printed on top of one another. I use it to bond TPU tires on cars that I build to the wheels, both are printed separately. Works every time.

Hot melt glues stick both well but practice on some scraps first as it's easy to overheat and melt through the part....
