I just had a thought: Layer shifts in Core One are a fairly common problem, usually caused when the nozzle gets mechanically stuck (filament blobs, prints lifting up, overextrusion).

Is the core one too rigid for its own good?

The thought came watching my Voron where the (toolchanger) head can slide upwards on three pins and is held down by magnets.

For testing, I loaded green "dripmaster ultraBlob PETG" (actual brand shall remain unnamed but with a 0.6 mm nozzle you almost get a running stream of molten plastic without extruder at a cozy 250°C. It's that bad).
Of course, it results in Blob-fest all over the wipe tower, as expected. But now, to my surprise, the printer is just plodding through, like nothing happened - obviously, because the head can evade in upwards direction.

Is this a possible design improvement? "OptoTap" is fairly common on the single-head version, suspending the head on a tiny linear rail, having the same effect. Sells for below $10 including the linear rail and electronics, must be a high-volume product ... While intended primarily for sensing (instead of Prusa's load cell) I wonder now whether it has other benefits that make it so popular.

At the moment if I want to order multiple items I have to order my rewards item separate from everything else, thus pay extra shipping for no reason......

At this stage I am not sure if they will travel by air or by sea container.

My two MK4S printers and the MMU were kits. I have most of the original boxes and plenty of "after upgrade" spare parts (One was a MK3S in its previous life and the MMU3 was a MMU2).

Should I break them down to nuts and bolts as I received them as kits?

Should I just remove the LCDs and try to "lock" the Nextruder in place and box it up? Ideas on how to do the locking?

How to protect the printers in the boxes from rough moving company handlers if kept assembled? Bubble wrap? Wood cage?

Any advise would be welcome. Thank you in advance for the replies.

Lots of predefined textures plus the ability to upload your own (as greyscale images); nice control over all relevant parameters (scale, amplitude, 3D mapping onto the object, which surfaces to apply the texture to); pretty responsive online preview; smart STL export (automatically applies a suitable mesh size).

From what I can see, there are no strings attached.

As I am looking to sell my lightly used Core One, I notice that the prices are lower than I would have expected. Based on online classified ads in Germany, 950€ seems to be the current consensus on the asking price for a Core One (or Core One+). The offered printers are often significantly less than a year old, and often include some accessories: extra build plates, camera...

If you figure in a bit of bargaining for the actual sales price, that amounts to less than 2/3 of the purchase price, after less than a year of use. Has that been common for Prusa printers, or is the Core One faring particularly badly in this respect?

Why not on youtube?"
Part of the hang out is that we have community members show up in the live stream to show off their projects and discuss it and is a lot easier to have it on discord since it often happens randomly. I am looking at multicasting this session over on youtube and maybe twitch, but for community participation, Discord would be the place.

"How long will you stream for?"
Honestly, no clue.. It is set up with a start time and then go for however long. It could be for an hour to several hours. Just keep things in mind, it might be early in the afternoon for you, but not for others where it could be late at night. We will carry on for as long as wel can, but there is no set limit.

"I want to show off my project"
In the discord server, under the general chat section (for now) leave a message and tag the moderators about joining the session and we can see what we can do to git you in. List the project you are working on, and also please be aware, there is no guarantee that we can get people on. We will do our best, but there could be several situations where its not possible.
