0,4 mm thin edges
is it possible to print 0,4 mm thin edges, 2 mm height? with PETG filament. Because after slicing, this thin 0.4 mm wall (edges) doesn't appear at all
RE: 0,4 mm thin edges
What's your nozzle diameter? 0.4 mm?
You usually want to print a bit wider than your nozzle diameter. You can see the setting in your slicer. It might be 0.45 mm or something. Your minimal width of details has to be larger than that. So if it is 0.45 it has to be 0.45 or maybe 0.46 mm to be sliceable.

Make sure Detect Thin Walls is checked in your settings and set the extrusion width to 0.4. Or switch to a smaller nozzle, eg 0.25.

@fuchsr
thank you, I'll check!

thank you!
RE: 0,4 mm thin edges
I currently never use "detect thin walls" as it can mess up the model - not by much but still by a bit. If you design the object yourself, it is better to optimise it yourself and then turn off the thin wall detection.

That is true. Turning “Detect Thin Walls” on can create issues elsewhere, why I don’t know. So like you I never turn it on unless I have too. Which is mostly when I need to put some embossed lettering on a small object and can’t make the letters large enough to print without turning this option on.
