Zyusouken (Remix)
I bought a model of the Zyusouken (Dragon Dagger) from Zyuranger, and I wanted to tweak it to be a little more accurate to the show. It took a few weeks and many reprints but it's finally finished!
The original model was a good base and had some things that I was not very good at doing. I wanted to color separate it and added some missing details while I was at it. I added some texturing to the green and the coin medallion. Redid the entire pipe section. Added the spit drain. Added a lot of details to the back side. And best of all, color separated it. I also added some springs so the keys are functional. Granted, they don't do much, but it makes for a good fidget toy.
While it is still not a perfect replica, and my print skills leave a lot to be desired, it still turned out pretty darn good, all things considered. The folks on the forums helped me get my gold print settings in order to make it work, thanks for that. There are some minor issues with the gold that I can live with, some details here and there aren't quite right, the piping could be a bit thicker. But I am happy with it.
I am working now on a display stand. The first version didn't work...
